This cover looks so old, like Ranzuki issues I have from a few years ago.

I’m sitting here in the Student Union at my old university, because I have no internet at my place!!! I was using my neighbor’s internet for months, but they finally found out, or moved, or something. Hopefully this only makes me way more efficient, since I only have a small period of time on the internet a day. Anyway, back to Ageha.

This style is becoming insanely popular, with a lot of other magazines like it seeming to pop up everywhere. I don’t like it, as you already know, but for those of you that do, I say enjoy it!

I’m sure a lot of you have been wondering what is up with me since I haven’t written in over a week or so. I got very sick and wasn’t even able to go to work. (They wouldn’t let me!) Luckily, I still have a bit of time to catch up with October trends before big wool coats and cute fuzzy scarves and hats take over fall and pull us into winter.
Well, I have 6 lovely magazines (including Popsister) to plow through in the next two weeks, plus videos. That leaves one weekday for whatever I feel like ranting about, or rest. I’m going to go get some brunch, then start writing.

Fall and winter always seems to bring around a tough girl style. Lets see how my favorite magazine chooses to interpret it!

I have a bad headache, so I’m not filming today. Hopefully I’ll get better in time to go out tonight!

Blenda Black is a sister magazine to Blenda, and I have never read it before!

I have a LOT of magazines to go through, and some other articles I want to write, as well as various other gal things. I’m telling myself that if I just do a little more each day, I’ll be on my way.
But you don’t care about that! You want to see some scans!

I’ve gotten a lot of love and links lately, and I want to say thanks for that. In my super busy world, that really keeps me motivated. I’ve been working pretty much non-stop since my vacation in order to get some things done for the store, but honestly, all the stress has just pushed me to get tougher and get my act together. I’ll try my hardest to make consistent posts for you guys!

I don’t know whether I’ll continue reviewing Popsister. The whole magazine is now dedicated to Shibuhara style, which is a mix of Gyaru (from Shibuya) and a style that is unique to Harajuku that used to be considered Decora, but has evolved in to something else that probably has another name. I like the idea, but like Hime, it’s a style that a lot of people are going to believe is more strongly up to interpretation because it is a mix of styles. I’m a very cut and dry kind of person who loves rules, and I think I’ll probably get in an argument with someone about how I feel the style should be done.
Also, the only real gauge I have of what you guys like is based on how many hits it receives. With that, I see that the magazine reviews are by far the most popular (with Ageha and Popteen being the most popular magazines) but the videos and articles seem to receive the most comments. What do you like about this site? What sort of things would you like to see added or see less of?
But leave me your comments about Shibuhara, whether I should review Popsister, or the site in general. Again, I continue to be AMAZED at how many people say they enjoy what I do. When I first got into gal style, I obsessed over the Egg magazines I would get in the mail, trying to have the hair, clothes, even eyebrows! I would start from their shoes or hair and ask myself “What do these all have in common?” and I’d try my hardest to find the same things here in little bitty Arkansas. I want to do the same in these magazines so it doesn’t seem so overwhelming to any of us.

I don’t really have the time to record a video today, so here is a cool one I found on making a bow out of your own hair.

Egg! I had to break it into two parts because there were so many pages I wanted to talk about.

A lot of people like the longer posts as opposed to my shorter ones, so I’ll stick with that.

I wanted to talk a little about how I got involved in BT, but it got crazy towards the end. Maybe I’ll talk more later! Hahahaha

Mickey Mouse is a beloved icon worldwide, and with the return of a lot of familiar trends, it’s no surprise he’s back too. I saw a lot of him in Popteen this time around, including a special where one of the models redesigns a pair of sneakers with an iron on of the famous mouse.
Luckily, this is a super easy trend to get in on! This link not only shows where you can get your own, but see some looks via polyvore. Gotta love that site! But even K-mart has tees, so don’t be afraid to shop around and get a look you love.
