Everyone has a few gal things that they hope to get soon (or someday!), and I wanted to share with you a few cute things I have been looking at.
Pinky Paradise is having a summer sale package with some really cute things.
1 pair * EOS Candy Series Lenses
1 pair * Neo Vision Extra Dali Lenses
1 * Anna Sui Inspired Travelling Kit (with mirror, tweezer, lens case and cleaning/soaking solution bottle)
2 * Cutie Animal Lens Case
2 * MyBeautyDiary Facial Mask
1 * Dolly Wink Nail Polish
Hopefully I’ll be able to get this before they run out!
Also, I’ve been looking at nails, and Yukiumi is my favorite place to shop.
Aren’t those cute? They last a long time too, which I really love.
What sort of things are you wishing for this summer?
Hope everyone had a lovely Fourth of July, even if it isn’t a holiday where you are! J and I went to Springfield to check out a cave you can drive through! It’s one of 4 in the world, and since J had never been in a cave before (even though his major is geology) so we had to go!
This week I found a few cool links that I know you guys will love. They are all about skincare, which I am waaaay to lax about. Hopefully these links will inspire me, and give you some new things to think about too!
BadBarbie – Cindy shares her skincare secrets (and her skin is perfect)
Happy Kiss – Shawna (the eyebrow queen) gives an eyebrow tutorial
kansai gyaru salarymen & co. – Maha reminds us to stay safe when using cosmetics and skin care
graphic noise – a skincare and other goodies giveaway!
Edit – I was looking through Firefox Personas and found that there are a few gyaru themes that you might like.
Animal print and bohemian style has become a staple of gyaru summers. Thankfully, the west has also picked up on this cute trend and has made fun, affordable pieces for it. I’m pretty obsessed with animal print year round, so I love another excuse to use it!
Dress – Forever 21, $19.80
Top – Charlotte Russe, $22.99
Necklace – Wet Seal, $9.00
It’s that time again! I’m composing another huge western gyaru blog list (like my original) and I need your blog! There are no real restrictions to this, as long as you blog about gals in some way shape or form, that is good enough for me.
I’m also going back through these links, so if you have posted your blog there, I’ll get it.
Thank you so much everyone!
Right after Christmas, I bought my first lucky pack. Japanese stores, in order to clear out clearance merchandise from the holidays, made up grab bags to sell at a reduced price. Now a lot of stores make merchandise just for these bags, but it’s still much cheaper than buying all that stuff separately.
I used the shopping service Treasure Japan, and they are fantastic!! I originally sent them the info for the preorder and gave them the deposit to buy from one webstore, but that store raised their price. So, being amazingly awesome, they found another store to buy from, and went ahead and placed my order there instead!
